Course Overview:

Leaders will recognize their role in developing, implementing and communicating their organizational or program mission and vision to others. Participants will learn to strategically plan and integrate goals and contingency plans in support of their mission and vision. This workshop will stress the importance of employee engagement, communication and ways to reinforce the goals by providing clear direction to ensure performance is in alignment with strategic direction, and ways in which agency goals can be transformed into individual staff performance objectives.

Coaching for Results

Course Overview:

Effective relationships and learning are the mainstays of organizational success today. Organizations that find meaningful ways for their employees to connect are more likely to realize greater productivity, enhanced career growth, freely flowing innovation and overall improvement in employee performance. Coaching and Mentoring is a value-added tool for developing employees on all levels and helping them to advance their learning and growth within the organization.

More than ever before, organizations, large and small, are looking outside traditional mentoring paradigms to raise the bar on the practice of mentoring by creating a mentoring culture. A mentoring culture continuously focuses on building the mentoring capacity, competence, and capability of the organization. In this workshop, participants discover the hallmarks of a mentoring culture.

This Mentoring and Coaching Workshop is designed to provide cutting-edge mentoring and coaching skills, tools and resources to effectively coach others in any situation. The workshop provides practical, useful tools for improving other people’s thinking and performance.

Building High Performance Teams

Course Overview:

This course provides participants with the insights and skills to identify the current level of team performance and recognize what skills, tools and techniques are needed to develop an effective team. By analyzing a team building model, participants will determine what skills are needed to improve as a team. Participants will recognize how individual behaviors can have a negative impact on team performance. They will participate in various activities and discussions to identify opportunities for improvement. Participants will develop a team charter and create an action plan for improvement to continue team development back in the workplace.

Change Management

Course Overview:

Our world is changing at an accelerating rate, and in multiple dimensions. These emerging trends and forces are changing the context in which organizations function, and the requirements of their leaders. Leaders need to understand the change process and how to define and implement effective change management strategies.

The participant’s will recognize the importance of creating a climate for change by communicating the importance and urgency. Participants will recognize how to enable people to change through communication, coaching, encouragement and commitment.
Participants will receive tools and guidelines to help them successfully lead change. They will recognize Kotter’s 8-Step Change.
Participants learn how to recognize change and how to deal with radical change, incremental change, unplanned and planned change in an effective way by taking action to modify a situation by changing things, such as people, tasks, structure, or technology of the organization. Participants will recognize how to deal with resistance to change through education, communication, participation, facilitation and negotiation. They will recognize how strategies and culture are critical to gaining commitment and how to build a structure to support change initiatives, teamwork, cross-functional integration, and to use empowerment to overcome limitations.
